It is always a delight to visit the Missouri Botanical Gardens Butterfly House. Located in Chesterfield, Missouri, the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House (named in dedication to the wife of the late Sachs Electric Company founder, Sam Sachs) opened in 1998 as part of the Missouri Botanical Gardens network. Freely contained within the glass conservatory are over sixty species of butterflies found around the world. Visitors are treated to beautifully kept exotic flora as they wander amongst the floating butterflies.
I found this stick bug to appear more reptilian than insect!
