If you have visited my site before, you’ll know that I frequent the Missouri Botanical Garden. During Labor Day weekend the Botanical Garden hosts their annual Japanese Festival – a vividly colorful and exciting display of Japanese heritage and culture. Thousands of visitors enjoy collaborative displays of Japanese cultural art, music and entertainment over the three-day festival.
While the festivities took place near the Japanese Garden, I made time to observe the lily flowers in bloom at the Linnean Plaza. With Summer in full swing, dragonflies darted about the lily ponds in a dazzling display of agility.
