Fête de Glace | Ice Festival Saint Charles

The Fête de Glace, Saint Charles’s annual ice carving competition, was held on the 100-200 block of Main Street in Saint Charles, Missouri. I have never been to an ice carving festival before, and I thought it would be fun to photograph something new. The Carvers, (though I feel they are more than carvers, more like a blend of meticulous artists/carvers/sculptors/chainsaw specialists) created incredible works of art out of massive blocks of ice and an array of tools ranging from traditional pics and chisels to power tools, chainsaws, blow torches and even irons.

First Annual Farmington Invitational

I was asked to help photograph a dance team invitational hosted by the Farmington Knightline Dance Team and the Farmington Middle School Junior Knightline Dance Team. It was a hard-worked event; I was busy taking picture after picture the whole day. But it was also a really fun event, filled with energy and impressive dance routines. Below is a collage of pictures taken during the award ceremony.
